Nestled among the tall trees and looking over the Duck Pond, the Forest House is a magical cabin a mere 50 meters from its parking spot. Clad with reclaimed steel and barn board, the cabin blends right in with the landscape. Open the apple green door and be delighted by the carefully designed interior. The main floor has a love seat (which doubles as a single bed), a window seat, and a tiny kitchen and table. Up in the loft you will find a full-sized double bed looking out to the trees beyond.

Wintergreen Studios is located at 90 Wintergreen Lane in the Township of South Frontenac. You will arrive by car to our main lodge, where you can park at no cost, then walk to the Forest House. The cabin is close to a pond, and there are hundreds of acres of land to explore along well-marked hiking trails.
If driving your own vehicle, approximate driving times are as follows:
• Kingston: 50 minutes
• Ottawa: 2 hours
• Toronto: 3.5 hours
If you are using public transport, the nearest major metropolitan area is Kingston, which is approximately 50 km south. There you will find a Via Rail station, a Coach Canada depot, and a local airport. If you are arriving by train, bus, or plane, you will need to drive to Wintergreen Studios by rental car or taxi service as there are no public transit systems.
Note: If you are booking in the winter months, we recommend using a vehicle with 4-wheel drive and snow tires as the laneway has some steep hills. Snow is likely December through March.
